These terms cover Hotpad, a macOS app made by Codeptum, and its sale through hotpad.app. By downloading or buying Hotpad you agree to them.

Trial

You can use every feature of Hotpad free for 7 days. After that, the app asks for a license key.

License

• A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use Hotpad on up to 3 Macs that you own or use.
• The license does not expire and includes all updates to version 1.
• You may not resell, share or publish your license key, or modify, decompile or redistribute the app.

Payments

Orders are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country. Refunds are handled through Polar under its buyer terms.

Requirements

Hotpad runs on MacBooks with Apple Silicon and macOS 13 or later, and needs the Accessibility permission to work. Please use the free trial to make sure it works for you before buying.

No warranty

Hotpad is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, Codeptum is not liable for any damages arising from its use. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
